Drainage Technician Job description We are recruiting a Drainage Technician at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 Hours Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time Location: Highways House, Penmaen This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Highways Services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £27,711 - £30,060 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are looking for a motivated individual to assist in carrying out site inspections, investigating flooding, managing scheduled and reactive maintenance programs and arranging for minor improvement works and repairs. You will have a solid foundation in engineering or construction and be willing to learn and develop further in these areas. You will assist in the maintenance of local authority records and be able to respond to enquiries from the public, elected members and other departments efficiently and professionally. For the role, we ask that you have: A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework. For example BTEC in Engineering. Awareness of principles in the production and interpretation of technical drawings. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience directly related to the job description since qualification.
