Work with Us. Change the World.
At AECOM, we're delivering a better world. Whether improving your commute, keeping the lights on, providing access to clean water, or transforming skylines, our work helps people and communities thrive.
This is an exciting time to join the AECOM Energy team, covering all aspects of work within Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Renewables, and Nuclear decommissioning. The growth of the digital team in the Energy sector requires the appointment of a Digital Optimisation Lead who will guide our internal delivery teams to transform and optimise our engineering deliverables and implement digital adoption technology.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Digital adoption across the region – identify areas where upskilling and support in project delivery is required.
2. Collaborate globally: Build trusted relationships with our global leads.
3. Act as digital lead across multiple projects or frameworks.
4. Responsible for ensuring suitable resources are identified and allocated to projects.
5. Point of contact within the region for technical software queries.
6. Present at regional Energy townhalls, communicate with local teams’ digital initiatives.
7. Work with the Energy Digital Lead to plan and develop digital strategies.
8. Enhance AECOM's market profile as a leading provider of digital solutions.
9. Track and communicate progress using metrics.
10. Collaborate with Project Managers and technical leaders to guarantee optimal resource utilisation.
Qualifications
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Experience in mentoring and coaching technical and non-technical teams.
2. Experience influencing non-technical executive stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated experience in work winning (for digital or technology practices).
4. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
5. Demonstrated innovation in delivery methods.
6. Knowledge of commercial workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Management, or relevant field.
- Desirable Professional Certification: Information Management.
Why Join Us:
Be part of a dynamic team that tackles challenging and impactful energy projects. Work alongside industry-leading professionals and thought leaders. Access to continuous learning and development opportunities.
At AECOM, we believe in creating a better world through innovative and sustainable solutions. If you share our vision and are ready to make a difference in the energy industry, we want to hear from you.
