PIMCO is looking to hire a Real Estate Investment professional to join its dynamically growing alternatives team in London. The successful candidate will focus on underwriting and assist in sourcing and execution of real estate and real estate-related investments across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
* Support transactions throughout their lifecycle: origination, underwriting, managing due diligence processes, negotiations of transaction documentation, and asset management, including follow-on acquisitions and exits
* Support financing activities for both new and existing investments, including evaluation of different financing options, legal coordination and negotiation with lenders
* Support the preparation of investment memoranda to be presented to PIMCO investment committees
* Contribute to thematic reviews and strategic research for investment theses
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will most likely come from investment banking, private equity or hedge fund with 2-3 years of relevant experience and is able to demonstrate the following skills:
* Strong analytical skills and underwriting experience across real estate asset classes is a must
* Execution experience, with ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
* Entrepreneurial streak
* Strategic and problem-solving mindset with the capacity to think "outside of the box"
* Cultural fit is essential as the team encourages an integrated approach: the successful candidate should be comfortable in a nonhierarchical, international and collaborative environment
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities
* Interpersonal, communication and writing skills
* European language skills considered an advantage
