Are you passionate about delivering first-class HR service and making a real impact in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our UK HR team!
As the first point of contact for HR queries, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting both employees and managers with expert advice and seamless HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Chelmsford HR Helpdesk and phone lines, offering professional and timely support
* Handle the HR ticketing tool and shared inbox
* Guide employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
* Support onboarding and offboarding, including induction of new joiners
* Process and communicate employee data, including contracts and changes
* Maintain and update Workday HRIS to ensure data accuracy
* Provide administrative support for reward schemes and benefit programmes
* Prepare reports—both standard and ad hoc
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions
* Coordinate and contribute to key HR projects
* Support disciplinary hearings, grievances, consultations, redundancies, and collective bargaining activity
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a busy HR function
* Proficient in Workday HRIS
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
* Strong ability to multitask, prioritise and work with a process improvement mindset
* A meticulous eye for detail with a “right first time” approach
* Accountable and tenacious, always focused on delivering a positive employee experience
* A proactive, self-motivated team player
* Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, or iCIMS is a plus
