Here at Octopus Energy ECO, we’re responsible for delivering the government mandated ECO scheme. We are passionate about helping vulnerable customers of lower-income by improving the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions. We work with an internal and external supply chain insulating customer homes across the UK within the compliance rules of the ECO scheme. This role is remote with daily travel to customer homes. What you'll do Work as part of a dedicated team, carrying out carpentry tasks in customer homes. Learn new skills, including fitting internal wall insulation (IWI) when required. Collaborate with the IWI crews, Electricians and Heating Engineers to create energy-efficient homes. Troubleshoot challenges and offer effective solutions on the job. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every home is left with work completed to the highest standard. Operate out of our warehouses in Sheffield and Nottingham, with travel across the UK and will need to spend nights away. What you'll need Proven experience in all aspects of carpentry as a time-served carpenter. A full, clean driving licence. Plastering or boarding. Plumbing. Installing trickle vents, drilling core holes for extractor fans, or previous experience with solid wall insulation (IWI). Familiarity with ECO (Energy Company Obligation) schemes.
