Contract Project Manager (Nuclear)
Location: London or Bristol (hybrid working arrangements)
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.
Employment Basis: The role is expected to be a full-time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part-time approach where possible.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity
At Sizewell C, you'll be part of a trailblazing project, building on the success of Hinkley Point C. With planning approval secured and government funding in place, construction is set to kick off this year in beautiful Suffolk. Be a key player in this multi-billion-pound venture - one of the largest and most exciting developments in the UK today.
We are seeking a Contract Project Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the success of a critical programme of works. In this exciting position, you'll take charge of the Nuclear Service Agreement (NSA), managing key contractual responsibilities while working closely with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Leveraging your expertise in contractual terms, commercial practices, and supply chain management, you'll drive the timely delivery of activities while aligning them with the programme's objectives. You'll work closely with the supply chain team and lead a group of assistants, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and a smooth flow of information throughout the project.
The Role
* As the Contract Project Manager you'll liaise with key stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and oversee the performance of the NSA and Ancillary scope contracts.
* You'll compile and report on financial and technical data, ensuring budget and delivery goals are met while managing contract tools, risks, and communications. You'll oversee compensation events, lead contract change negotiations, and manage expectations with senior stakeholders.
* Proactively addressing changes and facilitating resolution meetings will be key to ensuring that any issues or risks are identified early and effectively managed. You will take the lead in coordinating discussions to resolve conflicts, clarify requirements, and align expectations across all parties involved.
* You'll support the technical delivery from the Responsible Designer by ensuring that design outputs meet project requirements, reviewing progress and helping to navigate any technical adjustments needed to stay aligned with project goals.
About You
Success in this role requires solid contract management experience, strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex technical and contractual challenges.
* Proven experience in contract management.
* Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems or civil engineering for large industrial projects.
* A solid understanding of the complexities of major projects, particularly the commercial aspects of major project delivery.
* Hands-on expertise in project management within a regulated environment (professional qualifications like PMP or Prince2 are a bonus).
Desirable
* French speaking would beneficial, but not essential.
* Nuclear sector experience is an advantage.
* An understanding of engineering principles within EPR projects or EPR project design would be appreciated.
