Location: Wirral | Contract: Temporary to Permanent | Office-Based
Our client, a well-established organisation based on the Wirral, is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and versatile professional to support the finance team in a predominantly office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general support across the Management Accounts function.
Fixed Asset and Depreciation Maintenance .
Management of Right of Use Assets and maintenance of Lease/HP Schedules .
Cover and support for the Sales Ledger, including posting payments to accounts and allocation.
Undertake account reconciliations as required.
Remittance checking and reconciliation before payments are received.
Provide cover for additional accounting functions, including Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, and assistance with invoicing tasks.
Complete Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including Bank Reconciliations .
Prepare Nominal Journals, Accruals, and Prepayments .
Conduct Accounts Analysis and prepare Statistical Returns .
Support Margin Reporting and Monthly Reconciliation of Invoice Discounting .
Perform Vehicle Maintenance Analysis .
Handle ad hoc tasks as required.
Provide support to the Finance Manager, Financial Controller, and Finance Director .
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of management accounts processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
A proactive approach, with the flexibility to support various accounting functions as needed.
