My client is a manufacturing organisation based in North Manchester. Due to an increase in workload they are recruiting this role on a temporary basis initially but there may well be a permanent position due to growth of the company. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger from start to finish, including processing high volumes of invoices onto the system, reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts, dealing with supplier queries and making payments. You will also get involved with adhoc project work as well as inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a varied role where you have completed all aspects of purchase ledger duties as well as bank, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations. The hourly rate on offer is up to £16.50 dependant on experience, the role will be office based 5 days a week with flexible working hours on offer as well as an early finish on Fridays.
