We have both full and part time positions available for individuals with a positive attitude and good communication skills. Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Broomfield Hospital and is part of the East of England Operational Delivery Network. The Neonatal Ward is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots and a Transitional Care Service. We are Gold level Bliss Accredited, and always strive to provide high quality, safe and effective care and are looking for someone with the vision, skill and enthusiasm to help take the unit forward. We have Stage 2 BFI and continue to work towards Stage 3. Main duties of the job As a Band 5 nurse, you will work within the team to provide, and support the provision of a high standard of neonatal nursing care for the infant and their family. The job will entail working in the neonatal intensive care unit and offering some transitional care support on the postnatal ward. Our staff confidently offer advice and support to parent/carers of babies for a range of issues from infant feeding to information about safety in the home. Within the Neonatal Unit the focus of care will be on those babies requiring special care, high dependency care and intensive care.
