Siemens has opened its first UK Rail Industry Hub near Goole, East Yorkshire, initially assembling 80 trains for London's Piccadilly line and recruiting over 300 skilled staff. We are seeking a CMA Project Manager to join our Goole office working closely with our Major Programs Commissioning and Warranty team. Reporting to the in-country manager and linked to the Head of CMA in Germany, you will collaborate closely with our team and clients to ensure seamless project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, controlling, and coordinating change management and finishing activities for assigned projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving transformative changes within this sustainable, long-term programme, ultimately benefiting millions of tube passengers. The role is expected to travel to London and RIDCC (Rail Innovation Development centre) with occasional travel to Vienna and Germany. You'll make an impact by Coordination, planning, control and monitoring of the implementation of changes from ExWorks Werk to the completion of the GW phase. Coordination, planning, control and monitoring of the execution of rework incl. finish (OPL etc.) ExWorks plant until completion of the GW phase. Coordination and monitoring of all activities in the area of change management on the train, consortium partners, suppliers and contractors to ensure that the project is completed on time and on budget. Planning of infrastructure requirements for all change activities from ExWorks plant to completion of the GW phase. Ensuring adherence to the budget and coordination of deviations from the budget with the available instruments (expenditure outside AWAB, NCC, etc.) together with the C-BA and coordination of the deviation with the project management. Recording and clarification of project-related problems, risks and deviations CMA internally and externally incl. escalation to the COM manager or project management in the event of relevant effects on time, costs and quality of the change and finishing activities to be carried out. Supporting the overall project with claims to suppliers and customers • Coordination of material requirements for reworking with C and overall project. Organization of the logistical processes for change material and tools/measuring equipment for IBS and warranty points for change activities in coordination with SMO CS and the overall project. Analyzing and identifying project-related weaknesses from predecessor processes or influence on downstream processes, establishing a feedback loop back to the EN, implementing the lessons learned process in coordination with work preparation. Compliance with the regulations applicable to the project change coordinator's area of responsibility, e.g. work guidelines, work instructions and procedural instructions • Carrying out project-specific safety briefings for his area of responsibility. Preparation of risk assessments and operating instructions for the hazardous substances, tools and work areas in his area of responsibility. Your success will be grounded by Degree in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering or other relevant degree or relevant training. Your proven experience managing projects (Rolling Stock maintenance background preferred) Strong leadership and stakeholder management at all levels A detail focused approach to your work, to ensure projects are successfully delivered Strong technical skills, to deliver complex workstreams IMPA Level D/ APM PMQ or equivalent (preferable) Expert knowledge of delivering high standards of work using Primavera/MS Project/MS Office Experience in people management and working independently to set and achieve project goals.
