Are you passionate about empowering people to overcome barriers and achieve meaningful, lasting employment? As an Employability Trainer at Ingeus, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting individuals who have been out of work, helping them to develop skills, build confidence, and find sustainable employment. This is not your typical 9-to-5; every day will bring new challenges and rewarding moments as you help our participants change their lives.
What you’ll do as an Employability Trainer:
* Lead engaging group training sessions on key employability skills, from confidence-building and CV writing to interview techniques.
* Support participants individually and as a group, guiding them to identify and overcome barriers to employment.
* Deliver focused job search support by helping participants navigate job boards, polish their digital profiles, and prepare for interviews.
* Collaborate with your team to support your caseload into fulfilling employment, ensuring each participant’s journey is meaningful and effective.
* Respond to challenges proactively, creating a positive and productive environment even on the most unpredictable days.
* Meet and exceed performance targets, setting and forecasting job placements each month with accuracy and determination.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who can balance empathy with motivation, creating a supportive yet driven atmosphere. You’ll ideally have:
* Proven experience in designing and delivering impactful courses, workshops, or training sessions.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage a busy schedule.
* Knowledge of the local job market and the ability to network and build relationships internally and externally.
* Great communication skills, with the ability to persuade, motivate, and listen.
Desirable but not essential:
* Background in employability, recruitment, or a similar sector.
* Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Why join us?
As part of the Ingeus team, you’ll have access to a range of benefits that support your well-being and growth:
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Life insurance and private medical care
* Company pension and online discount shopping
* Extra leave for personal development and volunteering
* Access to additional perks like extra annual leave, dental insurance, and gym discounts
