We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to work in our West Country service based in our Exeter office covering carers in Exeter and other parts of Devon and West Somerset. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some work completed from home, face-to-face meetings with foster carers across Devon and West Somerset. Team meetings held in our Exeter or Plymouth offices. You would join a thriving and growing community of foster carers and a team of staff with a strong, welcoming, and child-centred ethos. This is a part-time role covering 3 days a week. Five Rivers works from a Trauma-informed (ATIC) model, integrating our fostering, residential, clinical, and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. Teams are supported by a psychologist and a therapeutic practitioner, who are also foster support workers and business support coordinators. This, alongside manageable workloads, means social workers have the time and resources they need to provide high-quality support to their foster families. As a supervising social worker, you will be working within a trauma-informed practice model that is continually evolving, you will support recruitment events and complete Form F Assessments. A supervising social worker needs to be a team player and want to achieve the best possible outcome for all our foster carers and children. You will need to be registered with Social Work England and have a formal social work qualification.
