The Corporate Asset and Facilities Management (CAFM) Service is responsible for the management and maintenance of the organisation’s large and complex estate (comprising 335 assets ranging from sports pavilions to Halifax’s iconic Town Hall).
We are seeking to appoint a Facility Support Operative who will be a key member of the team. The post holder will need practical and organisational skills to carry out and record building compliance checks, undertake minor repairs to buildings, room set ups for meetings, recycling, jet washing, window cleaning plus any other duties to help with the smooth running of our buildings across Calderdale MBC.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a good awareness of health and safety requirements, an understanding of building compliance, building security and building hygiene issues.
A requirement of this role is the ability to carry out and record building compliance checks, along with the flexibility to work in a variety of locations.
