About The Role
We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Senior School Administrator to lead, monitor and support our front of house teams at both our Weymouth and Dorchester sites.

Arbour House School is an independent SEN school with split sites, Lower and Upper, based in Weymouth and Dorchester for young people aged 6-18 with complex social, communication and learning needs.
We provide a bespoke, creative and stimulating curriculum with a particular focus on developing independent living skills and real-life learning. We aim to support our pupils to achieve to their full potential, contribute to their communities, gain meaningful employment or progress to further education.
Arbour House is rated 'Good' for all categories in our May 2022 Ofsted Inspection.
What we'll give you:
* £14.80 per hour
* 40 hours per week term time plus 2 additional weeks per year. 40 weeks in total, per year
* Working hours 8:15am to 4:15pm
* Pay is monthly over 12 months/year and incorporates generous annual leave allowance

What you'll be doing:
* Providing effective and efficient administrative support to the school office
* Assisting with a range of support and development functions across the school
* Providing a welcoming and efficient 'Front of House' role for the school
* Provide an administrative support function for staff at the school
* Act as personal assistant resource where needed to the school's Senior Leadership Team
* Complete administration tasks for specific development work including completing and updating work planners, diaries, calendars etc.
* Minute taking for a variety of meetings
* Administration and electronic communication and filing
* Supporting internal governance functions
* Provide administrative support to the SENCO, incl. attending Annual Reviews of EHCP's and updating documents/records as required
* Line management of School Administrators x 2, lunchtime facilitator(s), domestic assistant(s), maintenance staff
* To oversee, audit and assure the administration of the school's finances and ensure spending remains aligned to budget
* To oversee the accuracy and maintenance of core school office systems and requirements
* To oversee and lead the administration of staff-related tasks such as recruitment and new starters, payroll
* To oversee and co-ordinate facility management related duties and tasks
Who you are:
* You will have experience of delivering effective and supportive line management with emphasis on developing skills and achieving overall targets/objectives
* Have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft office package
* Able to self-direct and prioritise workload according to shifting demands
* Significant experience in administration tasks
* You will demonstrate a professional and independent approach with a warm and engaging manner
