About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work in our Renewable Connections department across the UK.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical systems and infrastructure. You will be part of the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team (SHEQ) and working closely with our project managers, engineers, and field teams to identify issues, conduct inspections, and implement solutions.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback.
* Create Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
* Create Material Approval Forms (MAF).
* Create Quality Record Packs (QRP).
* Review As-builts.
* Create Redline Drawings.
* Create/Review Check Sheets.
* Create and manage Quality Assurance Tracker, ITP Tracker, MAF Schedule, Redline/As-built Tracker, NCR Tracker, Reinstatement Tracker.
* Record / Track Asset progress and create dashboard.
* Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
* Create material lists and check sheet lists for each asset.
* Manage returned site records and scan and save.
* Chase Construction Managers and sub-contractor for site records, delivery notes and testing records.
* Update Document registers.
* Create Technical Queries (TQs).
* Issue all deliverable documents to the client via doc controller.
* Maintain Trial Hole Data Log.
* Prepare Hanover Certificate’s.
* Meet with client QA Engineer once a week.
* Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters.
* Continuously improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance delivery of projects within Renewable Connections.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance in the utilities sector.
* Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Familiarity with electrical and construction codes, standards, and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001).
