Job Purpose: The eCommerce Executive supports the daily operations of the eCommerce department, focusing on managing product listings, executing promotional activities, and maintaining the online storefront. This role is instrumental in implementing the online strategy and ensuring smooth operational flow, contributing to the overall performance and success of the online business. Key Responsibilities: Product Management: Assist in managing the product lifecycle, including updating product listings and working with product ranging and supply chain teams to help manage product inventory. Campaign Execution: Working closely with the online team to coordinate and execute online campaigns. Using key trends, events and competitor analysis to forward plan including deals, promotions and areas of focus. Be aware of external factors that may affect trading behaviour and act accordingly to trade the chamber. Content and Merchandising Updates: Update website content as needed, including banner uploads, product descriptions, and other site updates to ensure the content is fresh, accurate, and appealing. Data Analysis: Assist in analysing sales data and customer behaviour to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement. Support Online Strategy: Support the overall online strategy by collaborating with other team members on cross-functional projects and initiatives designed to drive online growth and customer engagement. Sales and Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse sales performance across Chamber specific categories, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions on stock levels. Collaboration with Buying Department: Ensure there is a seamless flow of information and alignment on product selection, availability and pricing. Channel Optimisation: Working closely with the marketing teams to ensure that category traffic is optimised for all ecommerce channels including email, social and affiliates. Nominate products for email selection based on seasonality, performance and driving sales and engagement. Alignment with Online IT: Working closely with the development team to identify possible opportunities/issues with the functionality of the site and systems used.
