Job Description
A highly reputable family run law firm is seeking a Practice Manager to join their senior team and play a pivotal role in achieving their strategic goals. Reporting to the Directors, you’ll help shape the future of the firm through strong operational oversight, team leadership, and process improvement. This position offers the opportunity to modernise practices across HR, finance, compliance, IT, and business development functions.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless firm performance
* Manage compliance across all teams, updating the Practice Manual as necessary
* Generate and distribute monthly financial reports
* Collaborate with Directors on strategic initiatives and HR management, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
* Coordinate IT infrastructure upgrades and manage vendor relationships
* Renew professional insurances and manage compliance certifications
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience managing operations within a law firm
* Strong HR Skills
* In-depth knowledge of compliance, financial operations, and law firm management
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
* An organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
* Proficiency with IT and an interest in implementing process improvements
