Are you a highly motivated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for an exciting and varied role? We are seeking a flexible and proactive HLTA to join a welcoming school in Droylsden, supporting pupils across all key stages and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced school environment.
About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across all year groups, ensuring pupils receive a high-quality education. Your role will include:
✔ Delivering pre-planned lessons across different key stages
✔ Supporting individual and small-group learning to help pupils reach their potential
✔ Adapting to different classrooms and year groups, ensuring a smooth learning experience for pupils
✔ Assisting with planning and assessment to support teaching staff
✔ Helping to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
✅ HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the ability to lead whole-class learning
✅ Confidence in delivering pre-planned lessons across all year groups
✅ Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
✅ A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a busy school environment
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with teachers and staff
