We are delighted to have an opportunity to recruit a Cancer Support Worker to join our established team of Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists within Head & Neck.
Working with speciality teams to improve the patient experience. You will work to ensure that patients are seen promptly and by the most appropriate person. You will work with the MDT to support the development of the new stratified patient support pathways.
You may be required to work cross site as the service requires. You will receive support to develop into this new role alongside our existing support worker and CNS team.
You will work mainly at the Eastbourne site however may need to work cross site at Conquest as the service requires. You will receive support to develop into this new role alongside our CNS team. Youwill play a significant role in the co-ordination of Holistic Needs Assessments and supporting our Head & Neck Clinical Nurse Specialists in Clinical activity as well and undertaking administrative tasks.
You will be supporting patients to aid in personalising their care. You will be helping to coordinate patient care and effective access in and out of the service.
