Job Title: Trading & Range Management Lead

Salary: £62,622 with potential to rise to £73,673 over 3 years
NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Trading & Range Management Lead to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Trading & Range Management Lead who will be responsible for developing and implementing product pricing strategies across NHS Supply Chain, including catalogue management and system development. They will also develop and amend quantitative models to analyse and forecast market developments, including estimating risks and advising traders on actions to take.

* Develop and implement trading strategies to maximise profitability, whilst monitoring and analysing market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Develop long-term strategies for trading and range management to support the business goals.
* Lead and mentor a team, whilst providing training and developmental opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
* Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and Senior Management.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
* Proven experience in trading and range management, alongside strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Previous experience of working in a financial environment alongside a formal qualification in this field would be advantageous.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
