Teacher
We are looking for a qualified teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Ipswich as a KS2 teacher. The position is to start ASAP, working full-time until the end of this academic year.
You will be teaching a small class of 5 pupils who were unable to settle in a mainstream classroom. You will have two TAs as part of your class team, and you will be following the curriculum while adapting it to meet the individual needs of the children in your class.
YOU DO NOT NEED to have a specialism in SEND yourself! The important thing when teaching SEND is that you understand the value of inclusion and opportunity and are someone who is able to see the children's strengths, offering encouragement and support.
ECT applications are very welcome (DID YOU KNOW? You can complete your induction in an SEND school!)
