Planner – Infrastructure
Location - Blofield, A47
Purpose of the Role:
As Planner, you will develop, update, and manage the construction programmes to support on-time delivery.
What will you be doing?
You will:
* Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
* Update and maintain the Cl32 Programmes along with the different delivery functions to provide a robust and realistic schedule that reflects the risk and opportunity impacting key project milestones.
* Review and develop the preferred construction sequence considering project-wide constraints to confirm the duration in the overall scheme schedule.
* Facilitate construction readiness planning.
* Arrange, facilitate, and provide output from client and supply chain collaborative planning sessions.
* If required, prepare Time Location charts using Tilos.
* If required, cost load the schedule.
* If required, generate Earned Value Analysis from the cost-loaded schedule.
* Produce programme metrics.
* Monthly updating of the schedule and reports.
* Update and analyze the schedule based on the effects of Compensation events or other events which may affect the programme.
* Liaise with subcontractors and assess their programme submissions for acceptance.
About you
We are looking for passion and a commitment to delivering excellence. A solid track record of planning major civils projects in a highways and public realm setting is essential. You’ll need experience working in the contracting environment with the ability to build programmes from scratch independently but also within a team and report using P6. The ideal candidate will have progressed from a site engineering background to understand firsthand how jobs are built. As a planner, we expect the candidate to be a team player and self-sufficient when required.
