Line management responsibility for personnel and resource management within PWS. Provide effective recruitment, professional appraisal, identification of continuing professional development (CPD) needs and performance management in those under their direct line management. Support the implementation of nationally accredited standards relating to mental and psychological health to support with military rehabilitation. Ensure the systematic provision of high-quality mental health patient management through a small clinical caseload managing risk assessment, mental health assessment and treatment. Facilitate liaison between the Departments of Community Mental Health (DCMHs), the PWS, and all teams within DMRC to facilitate the patient journey and maintain patient safety. Provide specialist knowledge and implementation of care pathways and ensure their integration across the IDT. Act as a resource to the wider professional community, providing support and relevant training, to carry out research activities, audits, propose and implement policy and service developments.
