The Role:
As Service Manager, youll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business ensuring service and installation work is delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Youll oversee the office and field-based teams, manage job scheduling, coordinate logistics, and act as a key point of contact for clients. This is a hands-on, leadership role where youll play a central part in the growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operations across service, installations, and office functions
Schedule and coordinate workshop equipment installations
Plan and manage PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and emergency breakdown visits
Lead and support the office and admin team to ensure smooth internal processes
Liaise directly with clients to confirm project details, provide updates, and handle any issues
Oversee installation works and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
Manage logistics and stock coordination
Book in jobs, allocate engineers, and ensure clear communication across all departments
Support the overall growth and strategic direction of the business
About You:
Strong operational background, ideally within garage equipment, automotive services or a related industry
Experience managing service teams and coordinating field-based work
Proven ability to run multiple projects and schedules concurrently
Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Organised, proactive and commercially aware
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Strong IT and admin skills
