Manchester Tech Festival is a women-owned, LGBTQA led indie tech festival completely funded by the community. Founded as a response to the digital inequality caused by the pandemic – MTF is more than just a festival. We pride ourselves on being a core part of the community working year-round to strengthen the Manchester Tech Ecosystem. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the Manchester Tech Festival Website • Take the lead on implementing the Social Media strategy, creating and posting content, actively engaging with the community and monitoring channel success • Implement the Email Marketing plan, maintaining the database, segmenting data, building emails and monitoring success • Assist the Head of Marketing implementing ad campaigns across a number of channels including PCC and Paid Social • Produce creative content including videos, photo’s and graphics for across digital platforms • Liaise with key stakeholders including sponsors and speakers in order to foster positive relationships and secure marketing content • Write and proof read copy for online and print materials • Report on campaign performance and channel performance in order to input into and improve the overall marketing strategy This job is a 9–5 role. However, attendance at some evening events will be required. You will work from home, with a minimum of four days per month in the office.
