About Us
Join a supportive and experienced team led by our Practice Owner, Dr. Frances Gray. Our clinical team includes 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, and 3 SVNs, creating a collaborative and progressive environment supported by EEC and Medicine Certificate holders. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from ANAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep.
We are an established standalone practice due to undergo a refurbishment within the next 12 months which will be to a very high standard that you can expect a modern veterinary practice to be. Close to a great selection of local amenities including Newcastle upon Tyne along with the great Northumbrian coast. Those more adventurous Cumbria and the lakes are 90min away. It's just a great place to be!
The Role
We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (or someone soon to qualify) to join our friendly team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), with a rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays and no out-of-hours. The role involves scrub nursing, nurse consultations, and the opportunity to perform Schedule 3 tasks. To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
