Job Outline:
The Payroll Administrator supports the administration and day-to-day operations of all the functions and duties of the HR Department. This vacancy primarily has responsibilities in supporting payroll, compensation, benefits and wellbeing activities. We expect candidates to strive in delivering exceptional customer service, outstanding support, honesty and added value to our team objectives while operating to a discreet and confidential standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Administration, inclusive of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting (to include P11D, Company Vehicle Registration, Pensions etc).
2. Company-wide committee facilitation and participation;
3. Company employee communications;
4. Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
5. Employee service support
6. Ensure relevant HR databases are up to date, accurate and compliant with legislation
7. Preparing data and provision of information for reports
8. Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
Requirements
Personal Specification:
Ideally candidates will have significant experience of working in a HR environment within the manufacturing industry with a strong emphasis on payroll management. Applicants must be available to start immediately.
You must be confident, analytical, enthusiastic and well-organised. Flexibility, good communication skills (talking to people face to face or over the phone and building relationships) and the ability to work under pressure to achieve demanding objectives are all essential skills for this position.
You will also have a high degree of initiative and you are an excellent team player. The role will be broad and you will expected to display a willingness, flexible and hands on approach, often at short notice, to undertake an extensive range of tasks within the Department. Ideally candidates will have some experience of working in a HR or Customer Service environment (ideally within the manufacturing industry). You must be a competent PC user and be confident using all Microsoft Office Applications. Applicants should have a proven academic record (educated to A-level standard or equivalent) with GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English Language at grade C or above as a minimum. Additional qualifications relating to HR Employment Law Relations and Practice/CIPD qualification would be highly desirable.
