Job summary To provide a high standard of individualised patient care to all patients attending the Gynaecology Outpatients at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. To ensure that care is evidence based and patient centered. The post holder will assist in the management and organisation of the nursing service within the Outpatient areas including the teaching and management of more junior staff or those in training. Main duties of the job Providing nursing care, support and clinical function to women attending Outpatients 1 and Early Pregnancy Unit. Supporting nursing care within colposcopy and hysteroscopy services. The organization and running of outpatients clinics and supporting benign gynaecology services. Being a patient advocate and provide support for patients' medical, social and psychological needs whilst attending the Outpatient areas.
