Support Worker - Client Residential Home via Teaching Personnel - No Experience Needed
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border - SG8 postcode.
Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome bonus*
Annual Salary: £24,375 - £26,582 per year for a 40 hour week
Hours: 40 hours per week
Training: Full training provided and once passed probation we will support and fund studying the Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care
No experience necessary, full training given and fully funded study for Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.

Our client residential home, Rated CQC Outstanding, are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to become Support Workers for our young people on a full or part time basis.
Set within 14 acres, this residential home offers a supportive living and learning environment for young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. With specialist facilities and a focus on promoting independence, we support each of our young people through the transition from education into adulthood.
The Role:
As a support worker, you will be highly involved in personal care, supporting our young people with all aspects of personal hygiene including toileting, dressing, and maintaining their personal appearance.
In addition to supporting their medical needs, you will also assist with therapies such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy in our newly renovated pool. We also have sensory gardens, a skills centre, forestry school, and rooms dedicated to art, music, and much more.
Independence is promoted wherever possible, as the adults will often run their own days with activities they enjoy, such as participating in the site's enterprise scheme, shopping trips, forestry lessons, or even going to the pub!
Although no experience is required, we are looking for candidates to demonstrate:

* Creativity in meeting the needs of the young adults
* Ability to work on a rota pattern which will include working every other weekend
