The Role
As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company’s sales strategy. You’ll oversee key customer accounts, manage a motivated sales team, and explore new business opportunities across Northern Ireland, the UK, and Ireland. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on involvement, making it ideal for a proactive and results-driven leader.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve year-on-year revenue growth.
* Manage key accounts, including buying groups, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.
* Drive the performance of the sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans.
* Analyse sales metrics and market insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
* Oversee pricing strategies, incentive programmes, and promotional activities to optimise margins.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with high-value customers, identifying opportunities for growth.
* Represent the business at trade fairs and other marketing events, generating leads and expanding the customer base.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Proven success in a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager role.
* Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, capable of motivating and influencing stakeholders.
* Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
* Knowledge of the decorating, hardware, homeware, or gardening sectors is advantageous but not essential.
