Dysphagia training and an Enhanced DBS are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with communication and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address complex needs. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, nursing, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care. Provide expert advice and education to patients, carers, and healthcare staff on speech and language therapy strategies. Manage a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy, ensuring timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and outcomes. Participate in case conferences, care planning meetings, and reviews. Supervise and mentor junior staff or students, supporting their professional development. Preferred Experience: Clinical expertise in assessing and treating complex communication and swallowing disorders, including dysphagia.
