Role overview:
Life is chaotic. Modern homes can become hectic, cluttered and messy.
As a Showroom Sales Consultant, your role is to showcase what an ordered, calm, organised and tidy home can feel like, to help our customers envisage and bring to life their very own stylish sanctuary in the showroom.
You’ll also be speaking to customers who have contacted through digital platforms, with the aim of building rapport and encouraging them to come to the showroom or book a design visit.

* You’ll work collaboratively with your showroom manager and teams to continually put their customers at the heart of their business

* You’ll be able to focus on converting customer interest (in person, over the phone or digitally) into design visits, to ensure customers get the full bespoke Hammonds experience
What it takes:
You’ll be great at reading people. You’ll be able to spot when a customer needs a moment, needs a cup of tea, or is ready to hear more about their products. You’ll be attentive and brilliant at listening, hooking into really hearing what the customer is seeking to resolve. You’ll then help customers by securing appointments, with sole intent of helping them live better.
You’ll also have a passion for style, order and organisation. As a Hammonds showroom team member, you will have the opportunity to harness your creative and strong communication skills as you will support and inspire customers to select the styles, colours, and finishes from the diverse fitted furniture design range, offering a completely bespoke, unique and tailored customer service experience.
You will be required:
To work 35 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days per week between the hours of 09:00 – 17:00pm.
This role offers an annual basic salary of £20,820.00 plus commission payable on successful designer visits booked with an attractive average OTE of upto £23,000 uncapped eranings.
No Qualifications are required for this role and full training will be provided for you to succeed.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
