We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school community. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
2. Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning materials
3. Encouraging independence and boosting confidence
4. Helping to manage challenging behavior in a positive way
5. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
2. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) - desirable but not essential
