About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within the Pathways Provision at a primary school in B14, Kings Heath. This specialist provision supports children aged 4-6 years (Reception & KS1) with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviour. The role involves providing tailored support, implementing behaviour strategies, and fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and additional needs in a specialist provision setting.
Assisting with learning activities and behaviour support both inside and outside the classroom.
Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development through structured support.
Supporting children with transitions and engagement in learning activities.
Working closely with the SENCO, Class Teacher, and support staff to provide a cohesive approach.
