We are a small independent group of bars and pubs centred around creating inviting environments to drink and meet, matching the best craft beers, wines and cocktails together with exceptional service etiquette in a community inspired setting.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join Saviour Bars. As an important part of our bar team you will be helping to deliver a high quality product, and not only bring experience in the role, but the willingness to learn new skills. Youll have a high energy persona, and an understanding of our guests needs, and be inspired to create a community vibe within the business, welcoming regular guests, both new and old.
Our guests should feel comfortable enough to know that they can enjoy the facilities on their own or with friends, knowing there is a friendly and familiar greeting waiting for them.
Key Responsibilities:
* Exceptional Service:Greet customers by name, provide a friendly environment and learn their preferences to deliver excellent service within the pub or bar.
* Service Standards:Produce perfect hot and cold drinks for our guests following agreed recipes ensuring impeccable presentation and providing exceptional plus one service.
* Inventory Management:Assist team with stock-taking and inventories, anticipate periods of peak demand and large-scale events for additional supplies. Follow instructions from line manager regarding reporting, record-keeping, compliance, health & safety standards, and drinks inventory management.
* Maintenance & Operations:Keep bars spotlessly clean throughout shift, including maintenance of coffee machines, blenders, fridges, and other equipment. Manage overall bar and coffee operations as directed by line manager. Conduct MEP preparations before every service and always ensure well-stocked bar.
Skills & Requirements
* Accomplished drink mixing skills and passion for craft beers; strong barista skills or willingness to learn and share transferable skills to the rest of the team.
* Handle pressure well. Look favourably on any service issues that can be turned into a positive guest experience
* Be obsessed with delivering an unrivalled customer experience while performing day to day duties.
* Effectively communicate any offers or events in a non-pushy tone to guests
* Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
* Friendly upbeat demeanour, and someone who enjoys supporting their colleagues to create a positive workplace environment.
