We are a busy general surgical ward caring for patients under multiple specialities which include Colorectal, ENT and Urology. As we have several specialities we are unique in the opportunities we can offer to learn new skills and develop professionally.
Knowledge of Infection Control, Health and Safety, Risk Management and the NHS nursing agenda is essential. A period of induction and preceptorship is provided. Informal visits are encouraged.

Main duties of the job
You will provide a comprehensive nursing service for patients whilst ensuring a high standard of care. You will possess good communication, organisational and numerical skills. You will have the ability to organise your own workload as well as being methodical whilst paying attention to detail.
