We are offering an exciting opportunity to join us as one of our three Team Managers. The role requires the postholder to work a 3-week rota, working one in three weekends to provide managerial and support to your team.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who is highly motivated and committed to their own continuous professional development, and who is passionate about supporting young people and our dedicated staff team within a custodial setting.
You should be educated to Diploma L5 (or equivalent qualification), which will be relevant to working with Children and Young People and have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills, along with high levels of organisational and communication skills, particularly with children and young people, parents’ carers and other key partners.
You will have at least 3 years management experience in social care, criminal justice, or residential setting, working with children and young people with complex needs, challenging behaviour and/ or working with vulnerable young people, having previous experience of managing safeguarding processes, as this role undertake the deputy DSL role within the service.
You will need to demonstrate all the identified areas within the shortlisting criteria and provide a working culture that promotes multi-disciplinary working, solution focused and strength-based principles and provides the service behavioural values, which are provided within the Frequently Asked Questions sheet attached.
