Senior Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Blue Arrow - Cardiff. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operation and ensuring that food is produced and served to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage the kitchen team to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
* Develop and implement menu ideas and concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and efficient food production.
* Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
* Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality hotel restaurant environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach staff.
* Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
