Some of our current projects include: The design, installation, operation and funding of district heating system to serve 3500 homes in Clapham as part of a major regeneration project. The design and installation of a heat network in a rural community in Cambridgeshire to replace oil boilers in 300 homes with centralised low carbon heat generation. The design and installation of a ground source heat pump system to provide heating and cooling to a new development of 300 homes a gym and office building in South London. The design, installation and operation of a new city centre wide low carbon district heating system for the City of Cardiff Developing detailed long-term decarbonisation plans for existing large scale district heating networks to allow them to transition from gas fired CHP led generation to low carbon generation. The Role Your role will be to provide procurement support for the business, working closely with and supported by the wider Hemiko team. Specific Tasks The role will include building relationships with key personal across the business and supply base. Specific daily tasks will include but not be limited to: · Supplier Relationship Management o Support the business with supplier onboarding, updating and maintaining the spreadsheet. o Managing and maintaining the approved supplier list, activities include keeping suppliers core documents up to date e.g. insurances o Help with the onboarding of new suppliers and making sure all key information and documents are provided · Transactional Procurement o Support the head of Procurement with tender evaluation and speaking with suppliers to obtain information. o Creating and issuing of purchase orders and liaising with the Finance team on invoicing and billing. o Carrying out online procurement transactions through Amazon and other online solutions · Senior Procurement Manager Support o Help monitor compliance of procurement policies, legal regulation, and industry standards o With keeping abreast of market trends and supplier developments that may impact procurement decisions o Help build relationships up with key suppliers, contractors, and service providers o Assist in identification of cost saving opportunities and process improvements. · Reporting and Analysis o Provide spend analysis of the approved suppliers. o Provide reports on fleet related requirements o Provide reports on the preferred supplier list o Monitoring financial standing of suppliers · Fleet o Administer the company vehicle fleet: § Fuel card management § Booking in vehicles for maintenance and repairs § Managing insurance claims and accidents § Fines and DVLA Checks Remuneration and Info Remuneration: Base up to £27,500 (depending on experience) Discretionary bonus based on individual and business performance.
