Role Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior management, architecture team, and other stakeholders to align Cloud Platform to the architecture and technical roadmaps. Produce quarterly plans for the Cloud Platform team and support execution of these plans.
Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching. Work closely with the software engineering teams to understand and advise on infrastructure requirements. Drive cloud infrastructure proof-of-concepts that could be handed over to engineering teams for full-scale development.
Collaborate with architects when rolling-out new concepts. Monitor team performance, set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback. Working with the Chief Architect, identify and address any issues or challenges faced by the team and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Drive a generative culture of high cooperation where learning is the heart of everything we do. To be an advocate of the Agile development practices employed by the development function. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and seek opportunities to apply them to the team's work.
Promote and develop a culture of continual improvement where cloud and engineering teams are continually striving to be the best. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on infrastructure progress and issues to manage expectations.
