Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed (Must have secure residency)
Position: Deputy Manager (RGN / RMN / RNLD Qualified)
Hours: Full time
Salary: up to £23.00 per hour / £52,624 per year (based on 44 hours)

Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Manager, you’ll be part of the management team that sets the tone for delivering the highest standards of care in compliance with the NMC code of conduct. The safety of your team and the safeguarding of your residents are a key focus for this role. Together with your Home Manager, you will set the standards of excellence that empower and encourage your team to emulate. This role emphasizes health & safety management.
* Training and development of yourself and your staff.
* Marketing the home to new residents and new staff.
* Maintaining detailed and accurate care records.
* Ordering and storing all medication safely.
* Being a point of contact for residents and their families.
* Representing your home with pride and passion.
You’ll be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations. You will strive to provide great quality holistic care, making every day better than the last, and be an ambassador of our values, helping every resident maintain their independence and dignity.
Ideal Candidate:
* Registered nurse RGN or RMN with excellent clinical skills and a valid NMC pin.
* Currently working as a Senior Nurse/Unit Manager or Deputy Manager/Clinical Level with experience in a Care Home.
* NVQ Level 5 is desirable but not essential.
* Good manager – confident in leading a team.
* Multi-skilled – involved in planning, training, marketing, and financial reporting.
* Good listener – understanding what matters to residents, families, and your team.
* Good learner – taking on challenges of training your team and yourself.
* Ambitious – wanting the best for your home and your people.
