What Will Your Role Involve?
1. Expert Repairs & Servicing: You will handle repair and servicing tasks for a diverse array of catering equipment, such as dishwashers, ware-washers, ovens, mixers, and various food and beverage preparation machines. Service calls may include evening and weekend commitments.
2. Proactive Maintenance: Perform planned contract maintenance, conduct warranty checks, and manage installations of new equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of our equipment.
3. Diagnostic Excellence: With your advanced diagnostic skills, you will identify faults with precision, ensuring that efficient and effective solutions are consistently applied.
4. Inventory & Logistics Management: Efficiently manage van stock levels, order and keep accurate records of spare parts, ensuring you are always prepared for the task at hand.
5. Administrative Accuracy: Meticulously complete all related paperwork and maintain up-to-date electronic timesheets to log your work effectively.
6. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with our Dispatcher to enhance productivity and service effectiveness, attend essential meetings, and participate in training sessions to stay ahead in your field.
7. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain all aspects of your company vehicle, to be kept in pristine condition, ensuring it is mechanically sound and roadworthy at all times, presenting a good professional image for our brand.
8. Customer Relations: Uphold an exemplary professional image and maintain excellent customer relationships, seizing opportunities to foster client loyalty and drive sales.
What Are We Looking For?
1. Essential Qualifications: A solid electrical foundation, evidenced by a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent Armed Forces training. Extensive industry experience coupled with specific manufacturer training may also meet this requirement.
2. Desired Attributes: Gas competence with relevant certifications, outstanding communication skills, and a proven ability to nurture positive customer interactions.
