Commissioning Engineer / Manager

Location: Derbyshire / Peak District / South Yorkshire
Contract Duration: 3-month contract
Rates: £400.00 - £425.00 per day DOE (Limited Co.)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35 suitable
We are working with a key client who is a heavy material, process handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Engineer / Manager for a key customer site in the Peak District for a minimum of a 2-3-month contract on a major process site upgrade.
Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Construction Director, managing the program of commissioning through to completion
* Ensuring all commissioning documentation is complete
* Working in conjunction with mechanical and electrical install teams
* Ensuring project deliverables are being met
* Point to point electrical testing
* Checking documentation and certificates
* Keeping track of installs, especially during shutdowns to ensure specifications and timescales are achieved
* Ensuring all H&S and site procedures are being adhered to
Qualifications:
* Experience on £multi-million industrial project installs
* Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering
* Site safety passport – CCNSG / CSCS
* First Aid (beneficial)
* IPAF (beneficial)
* 10-hour days Mon to Fri, and 12-hour days when the program requires
* Some weekend working when the program requires
