About the role
Our Marketing team is looking for an experienced analyst with a broad range of skills to join them.
As a Digital Marketing Analyst, the role will be sourcing, analyzing, and critically interpreting data to generate insight that informs the commercial performance of our paid and owned-channel Digital Marketing.
This role supports both the continuous improvement of our websites and the evaluation of optimization of our paid and owned Marketing activity, using media, channel, and business performance data from multiple sources to evaluate marketing effectiveness and website performance, making key recommendations for improvement.
Providing timely and relevant reporting, this is a key role within Marketing, enabling us to monitor and adapt performance media, seasonal Marketing campaigns, and owned channel promotional strategies to drive overall business performance.
Working with Digital Managers and third-party suppliers, this role plays a key part in prioritizing and supporting change in our analytical capabilities (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Data Collection, Google Analytics) to maximize our Digital MI capability.
About you
Bringing with you strong Marketing knowledge combined with practical experience of building insightful reporting using data analytics tools, Excel, and other technologies, you’ll be confident in your understanding of analytics capability and able to work with technical and non-technical teams.
You’ll have the curiosity to drive meaningful and actionable insights and to develop the insight narrative, combined with the ability to tailor the narrative to your audience. Well-organized and adaptable, you’ll be able to perform collaboratively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Confident, clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills are also important traits for this role.
To be successful in this role, it’s essential you have:
* Recent experience of Adobe and Google Analytics from a marketing and web perspective.
* Good demonstrable analytical skills working with complex data and developing meaningful insight.
* Evidence of working with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to persuade and influence.
* Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate reporting.
* An ability to interpret complex issues, offer creative solutions, and present these in simple, engaging, and visual ways.
* Good communication and strong decision-making skills.
* Technical understanding of tag management and data collection rules or willingness to learn.
Desirable experience needed will be:
* Experience from a financial services background.
* Coaching or supporting others.
* Experience working with development teams and third-party suppliers.
* Confidence managing a range of stakeholders.
