About The Role: We are looking for a multi skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers and staff. You will achieve this by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA License along with the willingness to clean and get involved. Working hours: Variable shift rota, 42 hours per week in a permanent, full-time basis. Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Week 1 Rest Day Rest Day 6am-6pm 6am-6pm 6am-6pm Rest Day 6pm-6am Week 2 6pm-6am 6pm-6am Rest Day Rest Day Rest Day 6am-6pm 6am-6pm Week 3 Rest Day Rest Day 6pm-6am 6pm-6am 6pm-6am 6pm-6am Rest Day Week 4 6am-6pm 6am-6pm Rest Day Rest Day Rest Day Rest Day Rest Day All 12 hour shifts Main Responsibilities: Patrolling of the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness Advising and assisting retailers where necessary Daily general cleaning of the site, involving the use of cleaning machinery Reviewing CCTV Ensuring all daily tasks have been completed within deadline requirements. Health & Safety Accountabilities: Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas and that morale remains high. Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues. Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained i.e. attended Managing Safety programme and other Company safety events. Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Front line security experience SIA Qualification for security and CCTV Confidence within independent working.
