We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Building Officer to join our Facilities Management team, overseeing the day-to-day Facilities Management operations of KCC’s Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) portfolio.
What you’ll do:
1. Deliver day-to-day operational support of various buildings to ensure accommodation and services are delivered to a high standard.
2. Liaise with building stakeholders and manage contractors.
3. Oversee ongoing building audits and performance across a range of services to ensure continuous improvement, compliance, and health & safety requirements are met.
4. Ensure building safety, functionality, and efficiency while delivering excellent customer service to all building users.
What you’ll need:
* Experience in Facilities Management.
* High level of experience in partnership working within a public sector setting.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and building compliance.
* This role requires travel across the county and office estate. A Full UK Driving licence is required, though applications will be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
