We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated team. This is a key role to ensure the Trust plans and delivers an annual medical equipment capital programme to best meet clinical needs and within financial resource.
This is varied and challenging role, interacting with a number of finance, procurement and clinical stakeholders. You will be a self-motivated and pro-active individual, with prior experience of business/financial management and/or procurement practices and processes.
The post-holder will co-ordinate the Medical Capital Equipment bid/request process (in conjunction with finance and procurement colleagues) and act as the primary point of contact for Care Groups, ensuring contemporaneous tracking of status of actions and chasing of required actions for progress. They will ensure the timely delivery of the medical capital equipment programme within the financial envelope available.
They will assist with the preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence to quality standards and within deadlines. The post holder will be expected to work under their own initiative and be able to analyse information and highlight potential problems.
