We are recruiting for a Bid Writer (Submissions Manager) to join our growing team. You will manage, coordinate and write content for bids and proposals for WorkSpace. You will produce standard company information, prepare PQQ submissions and draft tender responses, conveying complex construction proposals with clarity. Training and development is available and you will be working with an experienced team. This position will be based at our Head Office in Mallusk, Newtownabbey.
Duties will include:
* Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions
* Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities
* Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability
* Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems
* Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions
* Coordinating the clarification and RFI process
* Proof-reading colleagues’ work
* Preparing presentations for client interviews in PowerPoint, InDesign or other appropriate platform
* Creating/updating standard marketing information
* Attending site visits/events and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in a writing role or bid management
* Enthusiastic and keen to develop
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Excellent IT and creative presentation skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
* Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritisation of workload
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Team player
Desirable Criteria
* Degree level qualification, ideally within a construction related discipline.
* Previous experience in the construction or facilities maintenance industry
* Experience of Adobe Creative Suite
We are flexible in our approach to this role and would consider applications from those who do not meet all of the essential criteria, but have some experience of bid management, in the role of Assistant Submissions Manager or alternatively in a writing or journalistic capacity.
