Our Sports Coaches have gone on to become swim teachers, gym instructors, personal trainers, lifeguards and much more! This job is a great way to step into employment in the Leisure, Health and Sport industry.
This role will be based at your closest Freedom Leisure Centre.
Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements
* To plan, prepare and deliver high quality multi-sports coaching sessions
* To supervise and coach multi-sports and other sports to children and young people
* To ensure that coaching sessions are suitably planned and developed for all people including young children, those with specific additional needs
* To be responsible for volunteers and those attending the activity sessions
* To mentor other coaches, where appropriate, and provide advice and guidance in the planning and delivery of activities
* To ensure all sessions are safe and follow health and safety policies and procedures
* To maintain detailed and accurate records of those attending sessions
* To be committed to continuous professional development (CPD) relevant to the post
