About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer, has recently invested heavily in new state-of-the-art machinery. To support this expansion, we are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with a background in automation and PLCs. While the team of operators and engineers is still gaining familiarity with the new equipment, training will be provided as needed.
As the primary engineer on site during core shift times, the successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and resourceful, able to take initiative to ensure seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and troubleshoot automated machinery to ensure continuous production.
Provide hands-on support and address issues swiftly, using your expertise in PLCs and automation.
Work independently and efficiently as the sole engineer on site during your shift, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate :
Experience in automation and PLCs is preferred.
Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Shift Pattern :
This role operates on a rotating dayshift schedule:
Week 1 : Monday to Thursday, 5:30am - 2:00pm; Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2 : Monday to Thursday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm; Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Each shift includes a 30-minute paid lunch break.
